Stemming from our role in developing national cadres and competencies in the banking and financial sector, the institute offers its long experience, extending to five decades, in the field of high-level vocational training for the sake of achieving a strategic vision for the development of national cadres. This vision that has been adopted and launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait in cooperation with the Institute of Banking Studies and the Kuwaiti banks under the title of (Kafa’a “Competence”). This stems from our firm belief that continuous learning is an indispensable necessity, and that development is a continuous process undertaken by successive generations, and that investing in human capital is the most important and highest-return investment nationwide.
In order to achieve this ambitious vision, the Kafa’a initiative explores the future needs of the banking sector and examines its opportunities and challenges in order to offer, in light of this examination, the best academic and training programs for building Kuwaiti capabilities and developing national competencies that are qualified to undertake the responsibilities of the banking sector and lead it in the future towards further development, equipped with a thorough and broad knowledge obtained from both practical and theoretical programs, in line with the highest universal standards, in cooperation with the most prestigious educational institutions worldwide.
It is the responsibility of the Institute of Banking Studies – within the framework of cooperation between the parties concerned with the implementation of this vision- , managing and conducting the offered programs; these programs that are organized periodically will be announced successively through print and digital media, as we have a highly competent professional team in the Institute of Banking Studies that receives inquiries and provides assistance in this regard.
