Qualified national cadres in the banking sector

Building national competencies and qualifying them as per the highest international standards is a crucial factor in the development plan in Kuwait and an effective element in implementing the strategies set, not to mention it comes within the Kuwait Vision 2035 “New Kuwait”.
KFH confirmed the success of talent acquisition and Kuwaitization strategy as a result of its ongoing focus on building and developing the national talents. Citizens made up 77%-99% of new hires for the last years, where most of the new hires were fresh graduates. In addition, KFH leads the Kuwaiti banks and the private sector as a top recruiter of Kuwaitis. As part of our comprehensive training and development strategy for talents, KFH continues its training program efforts.
For example, it succeeded in 2020 in organizing training programs for 2950 of its staff through more than 13000 training seats covering banking, technical and behavioral skills.
We, as board members, fully support all initiatives that are of interest to the citizens, of which is “Kafa’a” initiative launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) in cooperation with Kuwaiti Banks and the Institute of Banking Studies (IBS) entailing a comprehensive vision for capacity building among Kuwaiti nationals in banking, financial, and economic sectors. KFH continues its efforts in providing all the success elements and opportunities that enable the national talents to build a successful career and assume leadership positions in the future given that they are a key element in achieving sustainable development.
